Lambda / O2 Solutions

Oxygen-sensor faults can come from the sensor itself, wiring, exhaust leaks, fueling problems, catalyst efficiency or previous modifications. We diagnose before changing software.

What we check

A sensor code does not always mean the sensor is bad.

Upstream and downstream oxygen sensors are used for mixture control and catalyst monitoring. An exhaust leak, injector problem, intake leak or catalyst issue can cause the sensor readings to look wrong even when the sensor itself is functioning.

We use the fault codes and available data to identify the most likely root cause and recommend the correct repair or supported calibration route.

Checks can include

  • O2 sensor heater faults
  • Sensor response and plausibility
  • Fuel-trim data
  • Catalyst-efficiency faults
  • Exhaust and intake correlation
  • Repair and calibration advice

Our approach

Find the cause before choosing the fix.

Different warning lights can share the same symptoms. Vehicle data, fault history and the exact system fitted determine the right next step.

1

Vehicle Details

Send the registration, symptoms and any warning messages.

2

Fault Assessment

We check codes, system behaviour and relevant live data where supported.

3

Recommend Route

We explain repair, calibration or further testing options appropriate to the vehicle.

4

Mobile Service

Supported work can be arranged at a suitable location in our coverage area.
